New Orleans – What to See and Do

This travel itinerary is a list of some of the attractions you should check out if you plan to stay in the French Quarter in New Orleans for the weekend. I was not able to do a whole lot during my one-day solo adventure, but here’s a list of my destinations. There are plenty of stuff to do in and around New Orleans, like plantations, swamps and bike tours. So be sure to do your research especially if you plan to stay for more than 3 days! Weekend in New Orleans

Back in April, I was able to explore New Orleans for a day alone after an eventful bachelor party. I spent most of my weekend in the French Quarter and Frenchmen Street. However, on my last day, I began my day at Louis Armstrong Park and ended my day at the Garden District. I made plenty of stops along the way and probably walked 6+ miles that day which didn’t feel like much because there was so much to see and limited time. If the destination is pretty close by I suggest walking if the situation permits so you can get more out of your trip.

Seattle Trip

Seattle is known to rain a lot, but we were lucky that it only rained the first day. There was, however, a lot of overcasts the entire trip. Overall, I enjoyed the city and would highly recommend Seattle to first-time travelers on a budget.

Here are some photos I took from Seattle. Continue reading
